Rule of Thirds and custom Image Critique

Rule of Thirds and custom Image Critique

Saturday 30 September
Island Park - 8:30am - 2 Hours
One of the most basic tenets of composition is the Rule of Thirds. Although most people are familiar with this technique it is often forgotten in the haste to take a photo. Make use of this technique can add more interest to your images by leading the viewer into/out of your image.. In this meetup we will practice using the Rule of Thirds in a setting full of photographic possibility. I suggest bringing a few of your past images for a custom critique.. They can be on your phone/table but an actual print is best.

Tampa Photography Group
People, cafes, vendors, street merchants, buskers, historic buildings, art installations and much more. The power of observation underpins the art of great street photography. Learning to "see" interesting detail is a practised skill and we introduce you to easy methods that will open your photographer's eye and expose you to a world that is alive with detail. The most rewarding part of the class is learning how to approach interesting people and have them willingly pose for you. We will also go over settings, focusing techniques and lens choices common to street photography to help us capture those random chance encounters.

I ended up being the only student, so I had a one-on-one class. I thought it was wonderful. Keith answered all my questions and gave a lot of good advice.
I really enjoyed the workshop, it was very informative. Keith and Stella worked very well with everyone and the location was great!

Keith did a great job of laying out portrait basics. The model, Stella, was a pleasure to work with.

I really enjoyed the event, and felt it gave me a great jumpstart on street photography. It was very beneficial to walk around and shoot with Chris. I very much enjoyed his easy approach.
I enjoyed the small group setting at venue park. It was a good refresher course for me. I look forward to other events with this group.
